December 24, 2012 Merry Christmas from Us
Here is the front of our Christmas card. It turned out to be the most, actually the second most chaotic shoot I have ever done ever. These girls were their usual wild selves but they also knocked down and unrolled the back drop, ripped it, one girl was crying, the other kept running away. Total chaos. But I was ok with it actually because that is us. It wouldn’t be a Matthew family photo shoot without a bunch of crazy. And I am truly blessed.

December 21, 2012 A Bow, Stripes, and some Yarn- Christmas Editorial for Babiekins
The rest of the Christmas Editorial for the Babiekins blog. We worked with a new set designer for the first time and she was awesome, she had her entire car filled with antlers, stockings, yarn, even hammers and drills. I love working with a team like this and what they came up with. It was in between storms and the sky was very gray and heavy and we never have clouds out here. Then the sun came out right at the perfect moment and lit up the yarn in the trees.
December 17, 2012 Twinkle- Children’s Photographer
This is part of a recent shoot I did for Babiekins Magazine, for a Christmas editorial. I loved doing this because it was the Babiekins team coming up with ideas, everyone bringing clothes and props. I love my job for sure and I just love this little 3 year old. She is such a doll. The pictures are up on the blog right now and there are many more to come.

November 22, 2012 Beautiful Mama- Temecula Photographer
The other day I had the privilege of shooting a maternity session with my good friend. I took my girls and we drove up to the beautiful, middle of nowhere where she lives with her family on three acres. I had never been up there before and was planning on doing mostly inside shots but as I was driving the long windy road to her house I knew we had to go outside too. I love this gal and her family- I have so many fun memories with her and the kiddos have grown up together, this shoot was fun too, following the sun, sinking in gopher holes…. and she is such a gorgeous mama!!!
